Debut album release by клет“”. The album was inspired by various retro sounds and the Sovietwave genre in general that both go hand in hand with memories of the past and my childhood. Personal memories of how I spent my first years in an Eastern Bloc country and then had to deal with Western culture later on. It's also a tribute to the suffering people of the so called 'Second world', those who weren't able to get along after the collapse and ended up as ''Alconauts'' once poverty, crime, drug use, alcohol use and suicides skyrocketed. Plus, it's my tribute to the groundbreaking achievements of the Soviet space program.

The title ''Alconaut'' is a cross-breed of alcoholic and cosmonaut, a reference to any human being who can either achieve the highest high becoming an astronaut or dropping to the lowest low as an alcoholic...and sometimes even both worlds may collide...

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
